FIFA U-17 WC: Dah-Sossu , Iniobong 33 others Invited to Nigeria Flamingos camp

Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-17 Girls National team the Flamingos Coach Bankole Olowookere has released a list of 35 players to begin preparations for the India 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup .

Team captain Alvine Dah-Zossu, Nassarawa Amazon defender Iniobong Umanah , goalkeeper Faith Omilana,  defenders Miracle Usani, Blessing Sunday, Comfort Folorunsho and Tumininu Adeshina, midfielders Blessing Emmanuel and Taiwo Afolabi, and forwards Opeyemi Ajakaye and Aminat Bello headline the list of players expected in Camp for the World Cup preparations.

 

The Flamingos will camp at the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja from Tuesday 30th August 2022 . As contained in the release by the NFF Communication department , players are expected to report with their training kits, medical certificate of fitness and international passport.

The Flamingos went past the likes of Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt and Ethiopia to qualify for this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, winning five of their six matches on their way to the World Cup .

The 7th FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals will be staged in India 11th – 30th October 2022.
