Napoli striker Victor Osihmen has dropped hints on what he expects for next season with trending reports of Manchester United and Arsenal’s interest in taking him to the English Premier League.

In a chat with Kiss Kiss Napoli, Victor Osihmen is quoted to have said ” I hope to continue with Luciano Spalletti as manager for many years “.

The forward went further to address Napoli supporters who feel disappointed following their failure to clinch the Scudetto this season despite a solid start.

” I wanna tell Napoli fans we will fight to Win the league next year. We can do it ” Osihmen concluded.

Luciano Spalletti’s men are currently seven points behind league leaders AC Milan and no longer in the race to lift their first league title in over three decades.

 

But the Partenopei were league leaders for a large chunk of the campaign, with many considering they had the quality to go all the way. They have however secured a place in the UEFA Champions League next season and will turn sights to a better 2022/2023 season.

 

Napoli Manager Luciano will be relieved to know the Nigerian forward is committed to helping the Partonopei make a solid push for the Italian Serie A title next term.

Victor Osihmen has scored 13 times this season despite missing a large chunk of the campaign with Injury .

 

The Nigerian International was missing in the recent list of invited players for the Super Eagles friendly games vs Mexico and Ecuador with reports quoting he asked to be excused from the list.

 

An exciting offer from his English Premier League suitors could still sway Osihmen’s mind to make the switch to the English Premier League.
