Flying Eagles invitee, Alhassan Yusuf started on a flying note as he helped his new club IFK Gothenburg secure a big win at Gamla Ullevi in a Swedish league game on Monday.

Alhassan Yusuf couldn’t ask for a better debut as helped IFK Gothenburg to a 3-1 home win against Helsingborgs IF for his side’s second win of the new season.

Alhassan Yusuf started the game and was on for the entire duration of the game as IFK Gothenburg secured all the points against Helsingborgs IF.

The home win has lifted Gothenburg to fourth on the table with six points from four matches.

Eighteen-year-old central midfielder Yusuf has been called up by Nigeria to the U20 World Cup training camp in Germany later this month.
