Flying Eagles star Daniel Daga recommended to Liverpool
For his impressive performances at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup, Flying Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Daniel Daga has been recommended to Liverpool by pundit Ben Bocsak .
In his article for Liverpool Echo Boscak said of Daga “A really dynamic and composed player, Daga is already impressive physically despite his age but he also reads the game really intelligently and has the composure on the ball to really control the midfield.
“Those attributes would make him fit like a glove in this Liverpool team, which needs someone of his ilk to control and dictate games”.
“The way he covers the ground and has energy and the speed over long distances makes him overall a really exciting midfield prospect and one whose hard-working style could resonate with Klopp’s system at Liverpool.”
Daniel Daga was a standout figure when Nigeria romped to the WAFU B U-20 Championship title. His participation at the U-20 AFCON was limited due to injury but the youngster who spent the just concluded NPFL season on-loan at Dakkada FC is back and ever-present for Ladan Bosso tutored Flying Eagles team at the U-20 World Cup.
The FC ONE Rocket combative midfielder was at his best to stifle a star-studded Italy U-20 midfield that included players like Tommaso Baldanzi a regular at Serie A club Empoli and Cesare Casadei who cost Chelsea a huge sum in transfer fee.
Ben Bocsak through his comments will put Dainel Daga in the spotlight for the rest of the tournament in Argentina.
The U-20 Eagles will face Brazil today [May 27] in a final group stage match which will be another opportunity for Daga to prove his mettle against a knock-out round chasing Selecao U-20 team.
