Ik Sirius FK of Sweden and Flying Eagles attacker Henry Offia is very glad to have scored his first ever goal in his first game in Nigeria’s colour.

The former Dynamo of Lagos forward who was the the scorer of Nigeria U20 only goal in their 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in a friendly game played in Austria on Sunday is still buzzing about his goal but not happy with final result.

“Actually I really feel good about the goal because it is my first in my first game wearing the national team colours, said Henry to Sportsration.com.

“I am not happy with the final outcome of the game but it was amazing as we failed to get the desired result but scoring that goal was amazing for me.”

The 31 invited players in camp continue to fight for a place in the final 21 squad that will be travelling to Poland. Different players have been tested in the two friendlies played by the Flying Eagles thus far and Henry Offia is working to make the final cut.

“I have been having a nice time in the camp, I must confess we are like a family. I feel at home around the players around the players including the coaches.

“But the goal is to make the final cut, I am working and doing my best towards achieving that target,” said Henry to Sportsration.com.

Henry Offia is expected to play a big role as the Flying Eagles continue their preparation for the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup with friendlies against TSG Hoffenheim (May 8), Red Bull Salzburg (May 14) and Red Bull Leipzig (May 17).
