Forgotten Super Eagles striker scores two goals in Turkey

Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme continued is good form for his Turkish club, Trabzonspor as he scored two goals in their 2-2 away draw against Kasimpasa at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium in a league game on Monday.

The former Hapoel Beer Sheva forward who has not played for Nigeria since he played on November 10, 2017 in Super Eagles 1-1 draw at Algeria during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers came up again.

He scored the only goal in Trabzonspor 3-1 away loss to Umraniyespor in their Turkish Cup exit, and he was the man for his side on Monday.

Anthony Nwakaeme opened the scoring in the 30th minute, he completed his brace with his 45th minute strike.

The hosts, Kasimpasa, came back roaring and got one back through on-loan Chelsea striker Stipe Perica in the 63rd minute.

The comeback was completed in the 90th minute of the game when Trezeguet scored from the 12-yards.

Anthony Nwakaeme stayed on till the end of the game but didnt get his third goal. He has now scored six league goals in 17 league games for Trabzonspor.
