Former NPFL Goal-king, Mfon Udoh celebrates Nigeria at 63

Former NPFL goal-king, Mfon Udoh has celebrated Nigeria at 63 via a post on his Facebook account on October 1, 2023.

Udoh, who now represents Bashandura Kings in the Bangladesh top-flight, wrote ” Happy Independence My Country Nigeria🇳🇬 ” alongside images of him representing Nigeria.

The former Akwa United and Enyimba FC FC striker retains the record for most goals scored in a single Nigeria Premier Football League season (23), a feat he achieved in 2013/2014 .

October 1, 2023, marks 63-years since Nigeria gained Independence from the British colony in 1960.
