Future Eagles Defeat Mexico In Dream Cup Opener
Nigeria’s U15 boys, known as Future Eagles, have defeated the U16 National Team of Mexico 3-1 on Wednesday in the opening match of the International Dream Cup tournament taking place in the city of Miyagi, Japan.
Egesionu Sopuruchukwu opened the scoring for the Haruna Ilerika tutored side in the 44th minute with Oluwatobi Adeleke doubling the Future Eagles lead from the penalty spot in the 55th minute while Adeyeye Damilola effort was the last to earn Nigeria all maximum three points.
The Future Eagles will clash with host nation Japan on Friday 14thJune before rounding off their experience with a match against Romania on 16th June at the same venue.
