Galatasaray President Confirms Osimhen Set to Stay

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has confirmed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is expected to remain at the club next season.

Osimhen, who is on loan from Italian side Napoli, played a key role in helping Galatasaray win both the Turkish League and Cup last season.

The Super Eagles star recently turned down a €75 million move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

Speaking to Hurriyet, Ozbek said: “Victor Osimhen is staying at Galatasaray. His love for the club will be the most important reason. Talks are still ongoing.

“We hope to share good news next week.”

Galatasaray believe that their fans have played a big part in convincing Osimhen to stay, with the forward touched by the support and passion shown to him throughout the past year.
