Game 7s set in the East, Lakers advance in the West
Friday night in the NBA playoffs saw two series pushed to the limit and one that came to a close.
The Detroit Pistons kept their season alive with a 93-79 win over the Orlando Magic, tying the series 3-3. Cade Cunningham led the way with 32 points and 10 rebounds to put together a composed performance and force a decisive Game 7.
In Cleveland, the Toronto Raptors edged the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-110 in overtime to level their series at 3-3. Scottie Barnes finished with 25 points and 14 assists, leading the Raptors in the crucial win on the road.
Out West, the Los Angeles Lakers closed out their series with a 98-78 win over the Houston Rockets to advance 4-2. LeBron James led the game with 28 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.
Two series now head to Game 7, while the Lakers move on.
