George leads Clippers to Game 3 win over Suns in Western Conference Final

Suns lead Clippers 2-1 in series ahead of Game 4

Paul George was in inspired form for the Los Angeles Clippers as they overcame the challenge of the Phoenix Suns to win 106-92 in Game 3 of their NBA Western Conference final series on Thursday.

In the absence of the injured Kawhi Leonard, George has come to the fore as one of the Clippers most important and impressive players, showing that he is entirely over the horrible injury he suffered some years back. George finished the game with a double-double of 27 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. Reggie Jackson also contributed 23 points in the game. On his return from injury, Chris Paul recorded 15 points and 12 assists for the Suns, but could only watch them fall to defeat against a hungrier Clippers side.

Both teams will head into an important Game 4 on Sunday knowing that a win would be very crucial in determining who emerges as Western Conference champions.
