Germany defeat Italy to qualify for semi-finals

Geemany defeat Italy 6-5 in penalties to scale through to the semi-finals of Euro 2016. The game was tied 1-1 after 120 mins with Mesut Ozil giving the Germans the lead in the 65th minute while Leonardo Bonucci equalised for the Italians from the penalty spot in the 78th minute.
The game went on to penalties where Germany prevailed 6-5.
