Gernot Rohr rates Paul Onuachu after his stellar display against Egypt

Super Eagles headcoach Gernot Rohr has given his take on new striker Paul Onuachu.

The Denmark-based striker was the talk all over social media after his scintillating and first class display against a first class team caught the eyes of Nigerian and world football fans.

It was his 6 seconds strike the settled the tie on Tuesday, but much more than his beautiful goal Paul Onuachu was by far the best player on the pitch as he constantly threatened the Egyptians defence.

His all round play also caught the attention of Gernot Rohr who revealed that Onuachu is now an option for the team.

“We now have a different type of striker, a tall one from Denmark,” said Rohr.

“He did very well (vs Egypt), but he has to still improve.

“We planned to score right from the kick-off,” he revealed.

“It was the quickest goal I ever saw as a coach.

“It was very nice.”
