Gernot Rohr Urges Moses Simon to Leave Nantes for Premier League Move
Former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has advised Moses Simon to leave French club Nantes for a fresh challenge.
Simon, 29, joined Nantes from Spanish side Levante in 2020 and has just one year left on his current contract.
The Nigerian winger has been linked with a move to Premier League side Everton, as well as Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Speaking to Africa Foot, Rohr said he believes a switch to England would suit Simon well.
“England would be a good challenge for him. He speaks the language, and many Nigerian players have done well there. His speed, skill and ability to score goals make him a great fit for the Premier League,” Rohr said.
This season, Simon has scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 30 matches for Nantes under manager Antoine Kombouaré.
