Giannis Antetokounmpo to miss Bucks Vs Knicks

On Sunday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are set to host the New York Knicks at the Fiserv Forum in Wisconsin, but they may have to take the court without their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Antetokounmpo sat out the team’s previous game, making this potentially his second consecutive absence from the starting lineup.

According to Tommy Beer, the Bucks have listed Antetokounmpo as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Knicks after he missed Friday’s loss to the Raptors due to his hamstring issue.

Antetokounmpo has been delivering another remarkable season, boasting averages of 30.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.

Despite his impressive performance, the Bucks have stumbled recently, holding the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-30 record in 77 games.

They’ve struggled, going 4-6 over their last ten games and are currently on a three-game losing streak, including a recent defeat to the Toronto Raptors.

Following their matchup against the Knicks, the Bucks will face the Boston Celtics on Tuesday evening, hoping to bounce back from their recent setbacks.

On the other hand, the New York Knicks enter the contest as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, boasting a 45-32 record in 77 games.

They’ve had a more balanced record recently, going 5-5 over their last ten games. Following their clash with the Bucks, the Knicks will hit the road to take on the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday evening in their next game.
