Golden Eaglets battle Guinea for place in U17 AFCON Final

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will now face Guinea in Wednesday’s U17 AFCON semi-final after they finished second in Group B behind Cameroon.

Guinea recorded six points from three matches, a point behind group winners Cameroon.

Incidentally, both Nigeria and Guinea are also drawn in the first round of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

The other semifinal will be between Cameroon and Angola.

All four teams will represent Africa at the U17 World Cup in Brazil.

Nigeria have won the U17 AFCON twice.

The final will be played on Sunday.
