Haller On Target For Dortmund On World Cancer Day
Sebastian Haller scored for Dortmund in a 5-1 win over Freiburg on World Cancer Day.
The Ivorian striker was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier in the season and has now recovered.
Haller headed in Raphael Guerreiro’s cross in the 51st minute to score Dortmund’s second goal in the encounter.
Dortmund marked World Cancer Day by including a lump on the center circle before the match and at halftime to raise awareness for testicular cancer.
Haller underwent surgeries and therapy to overcome testicular cancer in July.
Dortmund are third on the Bundesliga log with 37 points.
