Hamilton wins at Nuerburgring to equal Schumacher’s 91 F1 wins

Lewis Hamilton has equalled Michael Schumacher’s 91 F1 wins after claiming the the race at Nuerburgring on Sunday.

The Brit claimed his 7th race of the season to increase his lead at the drivers table with 69 points.

Hamilton was joined on the podium by Red Bull’s Max Versteppen who finished second, and took a bonus point for fastest lap, and Australian Daniel Ricciardo who finished third for Renault in his first podium since 2018 when he was at Red Bull.

For the first time in 7 years, the German F1 returned to Nuerburgring the same circuit where Michael Schumacher won five times.

Lewis Hamilton Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas suffered a huge hit to his title hopes with a first retirement of the season.
