Henry Onyekuru scores three goals to go 2nd in Turkish Super Lig top scorer’s chat

Super Eagles attacker, Henry Onyekuru score three goals as his Turkish side Galatasaray smashed visiting Ankaragucu 6-0 at the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi Turk Telekom Stadium in a league match on Saturday.

The Everton loanee and his teammates were in no mood to play as they made a statement with their comprehensive victory against Ankaragucu in front of a packed stadium on Saturday.

Through Sinan Gumus, Galatasaray took the lead in the first minute of the game. Henry Onyekuru increased his sides tally in the 21st minute with a fine finish.

Henry dribbled two defenders before slotting the ball into the net with his right foot.

In the 26th minute Sinan Gumus increased the hosts tally to three while registered his second of the night. Henry Onyekuru also scored his second and Galatasaray’s 4th of the day in the 60th minute.

He stopped a good pass from Fernando with his left before bending it with his right to the bottom corner beyond the keeper’s reach.

Henry Onyekuru completed his hattrick in the 63rd minute with a one time finish after he connected to Feghouli’s pass.

Badou Ndiaye completed the rout in the 86th minute when he scored the 6th goal.

All of Henry Onyekuru’s goals were scored with his right foot while he played from the left flank.

He has now scored 5 goals in his last two league games and a total of 9 goals in 26 league games played.

He is now 2nd highest goal scorer in the Turkish Superliga with 9 goals, 11 goals behind Kasimpasa’s Mbaye Diagne who leads the scorers chat with 20 goals.
