I Leave With Only Love” – Noni Madueke Says Goodbye to Chelsea, Set to Join Arsenal

Noni Madueke has said an emotional goodbye to Chelsea Football Club, as he prepares to move to rivals Arsenal.
The 23-year-old winger joined Chelsea in January 2023 from Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. His time at the club had ups and downs, with injuries and tough competition, but he still played a part in Chelsea’s better 2024/25 season.
Madueke’s Message to Chelsea
In a touching message posted on social media, Madueke thanked everyone at Chelsea — the staff, teammates, coaches, and fans.
He wrote:
“Dear Chelsea Football Club, thank you for the last 3 or so years. Thank you to every staff member, to my teammates — I leave with only love and admiration for you.
“We achieved so much this season, and I truly wish you all the best. To coach Enzo Maresca, it was an honour to play under you. Thank you for helping me grow on and off the pitch.
“To all the Chelsea fans — thank you for the love, support, and even the criticism. I leave with only good memories. Love.”
Next Stop: Arsenal
Madueke is now expected to join Arsenal in a big £55 million move. If completed, it will mark a major transfer between two of England’s top clubs.
