Ideye outshines Martins as the Super Eagles strikers flood China with goals

It was all about the Super Eagles strikers when Tianjin TEDA hosted Shanghai Shenhua on Friday in a Chinese Super League match.

The match-up would have seen three Super Eagles players on parade but for injury to Tianjin TEDA and Super Eagles’ captain, John Mikel Obi’s, two Nigerians were on parade and they flooded the Tuanbo Soccer Stadium with goals.

Former Olympiakos and West Brom striker scored a brace for Tianjin TEDA while former Inter and Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins scored a goal.

Obafemi Martins put the visitor in front in the 11th minute when he raced in to score from Moreno’s beautiful assist.
