Ighalo hits four goals in Changchun Yatai win in China
Super Eagles’ striker, Odion Ighalo scored four goals for Changchun Yatai as they defeated Guizhou Hengfeng 5-2 away from home in the Chinese Super League.
Ighalo opened the scoring after 24 minutes when he stepped up to convert a penalty.
Ighalo scored his second of the match, three minutes later after being set up by Long Tan to give his side a 3-1 lead going into the break.
The second half started like the first but it was the home team who pulled one back on the hour mark when Fan Wang reduced the deficit for Hengfeng before Ighalo restored their two-goal lead with his first hat-trick of the season after being put clean on goal by Masse Vive.
The former Watford striker scored his fourth of the match in added time to send Changchun into a party celebration as they returned to winning ways.
