IK Start 1 Molde 3: Adeleke Akinyemi ends goal drought

Nigerian striker Adeleke Akinyemi has ended his 6-game goal drought with a strike in IK Starts 3-1 home loss to FC Molde in a Norwegian league game on Monday.

Adeleke Akinyemi had played 6 games in all competition without a goal since he last scored a goal in IK Starts 3-0 league win against Lillestrom back in September.

Adeleke Akinyemi opened the scoring for the home team in the 42nd minutes but they were pegged back in the 54th minutes by Pawel Cibicki.

The visitors increased their tally in the 76th minutes through Magnus Wolff Eikrem.

FC Molde made it three in the 90th minutes through Eirik Hestad.

Leke James was also in action for the away team, he was subbed in for Erling Braut Haaland in the 41st minutes. Daniel Chima was an unused sub for Molde FC.

Adeleke Akinyemi has scored a total of 2 goals in 9 league games for IK Start in the Norwegian top flight league.
