In-form Nigerian winger Gabriel Orok wins Player of the month award in Egypt

Dazzling Nigerian winger Gabriel Orok has been named January Player of the month at Egyptian Premier League side Ghazl El Medalla.

In the month under review, Orok scored important goals to help the Egyptian side secure eight points to climb out of the danger zone.

Orok weighed in goals vs ENPPI , Zamelek , and National Bank of Egypt to ear the award as best player for January 2023 in Abdi Baqi Gamal tutored side.

The former Enyimba International FC winger joined Ghazl El Medalla in October 2022 from Nigeria Professional Football League side Enyimba International FC.

Orok has made 16 appearances this term with four (4) goals to his name.

Ghazl El Medalla will be in action this afternoon hoping to stretch their four game unbeaten run and climb further on the log in Egypt’s top-flight.

Last week, Ghazl El Medalla announced the arrival of Orok’s compatriot Charles Ekpeyong. The 18-year old joined from Nigeria National League side FC ONE Rockets.
