Injured Curry may miss Warriors´ next two games

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry could miss his team’s next two games due to a left leg injury.

Curry may be sidelined for meetings with the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said the star, who averages 30.5 points, 6.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds this season, may miss those games.

“There’s a chance that he won’t play in one or both,” Walton told the Mercury News.

“That’s probably going to be a game-time decision or at least determined on how he’s feeling tomorrow.”

Curry appeared to be in pain during the Warriors’ 122-103 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday, but did have a triple-double of 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

Walton said the 27-year-old still wanted to play, even when he was limping against the Kings.

“He hasn’t said anything except for he wants to play,” he said.

“Even last night in the game when I saw him in the game limping, and I tried to take him out, he gave the wave off and said that it was fine.”
