Injured Olisa Ndah a doubt for Nigeria’s AFCON qualifier against Libya
Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah is doubtful for Nigeria Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier double-header against Libya in October.
All things being equal, Olisa Ndah was expected to be included in Austin Eguavoen’s soon-to-be-released Super Eagles squad for the important games.
His participation could be hindered following reports that the former Akwa United player missed his team’s recent game against Richards Bay because of an injury he picked up in a previous match. He was substituted during the game against Polokwane City, and the club later confirmed he is recovering from a knock.
Ndah was a second half substitute as the Super Eagles beat Benin Republic 3-0 in Uyo but watched from the bench as the Nigeria shared the spoils vs Rwanda on matchday two of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
