#ITTFAfricaTop16Cup: Aruna Quadri sets up semifinal clash with with Omar Assar

Aruna Quadri and Edem Offiong have booked their places in the last four at the ongoing ITTF Africa Top16 Cup in Tunisia.

Aruna Quadri booked his place in the semis after a 4-0 quarterfinal win against Fanny Kokou Dodji. Aruna Quadri will now play in the semifinal against his long term rival Omar Assar who dispatched Nigeria’s Omotayo Olajide 4-0 in the quarterfinal.

Aruna Quadri is the only player at the tournament who is yet to drop a single game having won all of his games with the record (3-0, 3-0, 3-0 and 4-0).

In the women’s category, Emem Edem will be playing in the last four against Egypt’s Yelma Yousra. Emem Edem booked her place in the last four after securing a 4-1 win against Gaci Fadwa.
