Alex Iwobi will be out for three weeks scan results show following the rash challenge from United defender Tyrrell Malacia in the FA Cup.

Everton manager Frank Lampard and Iwobi’s father did play down fears of a lengthy spell on the sidelines for the 26-year old and so it is as revealed by scan results.

The Super Eagle Midfielder will be out for three weeks with an ankle Injury. His abscence will alter the shape of the Toffees as he was an ever present feature.

A relief for his manager at International level Jose Paseiro who will be able to call upon the Midfielder in the next international break.

Both Lampard and Paseiro will hope the Midfielder’s form is not altered during the recuperation weeks, Iwobi enjoying his best form since the final weeks of last season.
