Jack Wilshere considering China move?

The England star is set to hold face-to-face talks this week with boss Arsene Wenger about his future.

Wenger loaned the 25-year-old to Bournemouth at the start of the season.

But there has been no interest from the Cherries, or any other clubs in the Premier League, in trying to sign Wilshere on a permanent deal this summer.

And that could force the England midfielder to contemplate a lucrative move to China if the Arsenal talks go badly.

Wilshere suffered a hairline fracture of the leg in a clash with Tottenham’s Harry Kane this month and his injury record is making Premier League clubs wary.

His future at Arsenal is also far from secure with Wilshere’s deal at the club up at the end of next season.

And to stand any chance of being handed a new contract Wenger needs to be convinced Wilshere has grown-up and won’t be pictured smoking or getting involved in late-night scrapes as he has in the past.

The midfielder plans to tell the Frenchman he has changed his alleged bad-boy behaviour and settled down with fiancée Andriane, who he is marrying in the summer.

Meanwhile, Gunners skipper Laurent Koscielny last night described the FA Cup as Arsenal’s “get-out-of-jail card”.

The seventh-placed Gunners could miss out on qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since boss Arsene Wenger arrived 21 years ago.

But on Sunday they set up the prospect of the Frenchman winning the cup for a record seventh time after booking a showdown with Chelsea by beating Manchester City 2-1 in the semi-final.

Asked whether he preferred winning the FA Cup to getting back into the Champions League, centre-back Koscielny said: “It’s our get-out-of-jail card.”

Victory in the cup final would see Arsenal qualify for the Europa League but question marks about Wenger’s future are sure to remain if his side miss out on the top four.
