Jack Wilshere Reveals Biggest Regret From His Time at Arsenal

Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has shared his biggest regret from his football career at the North London club.
Speaking on the Obi One Podcast, hosted by ex-Chelsea star John Obi Mikel, Wilshere said he wishes he had spent more time on the pitch with former teammate Cesc Fàbregas.
Wilshere, who played for Arsenal’s first team for around ten years, said:
“I always say it’s one of my biggest regrets. I trained with him a lot from age 16 to 20, but I only properly played with him for about a year before he left for Barcelona.”
“He really understood the game. I regret not getting to play with him for longer.”
Wilshere, who is now Arsenal’s under-18 head coach, briefly managed Norwich City last season. He praised Fàbregas for his football intelligence and said the Spaniard made a big impression during their short time together.
Cesc Fàbregas left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2011. He later returned to the Premier League, helping Chelsea win the title under José Mourinho in 2015.
