Jade Jones says yes to NBA Star Tyrese Haliburton’s romantic proposal

NBA star Tyrese Haliburton is now engaged to his long-time girlfriend Jade Jones – and the proposal was something straight out of a fairytale.
The 25-year-old Indiana Pacers player shared the happy news on Instagram this Monday, posting a series of touching photos showing the big moment.
A special place for a special moment
Haliburton chose a very meaningful spot to pop the question – the centre court of Hilton Coliseum at Iowa State University.
It’s the place where their love story began, when Haliburton played for the Iowa State Cyclones and Jones was part of the cheerleading team. The two met and started dating while studying there in 2019.
In the photos, Haliburton is seen down on one knee with a ring in hand, asking Jones to marry him in front of a glowing “Will you marry me?” sign surrounded by red roses. Jones looked emotional – and she said yes!
Even though Haliburton was wearing a medical boot due to an Achilles injury that ended his NBA season early, he was all smiles.
A love story fans adore
The couple have been together for six years. They recently celebrated their anniversary with sweet messages on social media.
“6 years, countless memories, and a lifetime to go,” Haliburton wrote at the time. “I fall for you more eTyrese Haliburtonvery day – I’ve got you forever.”
Jones called their relationship “one in a million” and called Haliburton her “best friend forever & ever.”
Jones is now believed to be working as a primary school teacher, while Haliburton has become one of the NBA’s most exciting young stars.
Fans are loving the news of their engagement – and wishing the happy couple all the best for their future together.
