John Cena Announces WWE Retirement Plan by 2025

John Cena, a 16-time World Wrestling Champion, has announced he will retire from WWE by 2025. The 46-year-old star shared his decision during an interview, quoting the physical demands of wrestling and his commitment to high-quality performances as key reasons.

Cena made his WWE debut in 2002 and has since become one of the sport’s most iconic figures. “That time is gonna come, and it’s gonna come soon,” Cena stated, emphasizing his desire to retire while still passionate about the sport.

“I never wanted to go out there just for the sake of going out there. I want to have the same passion as the fanbase and give them exactly what they give me,” he added.

Despite his upcoming retirement, Cena reassured fans that he will continue to make occasional appearances as long as he can perform effectively. “I’ve never missed a year, and as long as I can perform, I don’t intend to miss a year,” Cena noted. He plans to retire before turning 50, focusing on his health and longevity.

Cena’s announcement marks the end of an era for WWE, but his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of wrestlers. Fans can look forward to seeing Cena in the ring for his final matches, as he prepares to pass the torch to the next generation of WWE superstars.
