John Terry reveals his top five Chelsea moments
On Monday John Terry announced that he would leave Chelsea at the end of the season after an illustrious 22-year career at Stamford Bridge.
Terry who has made 713 appearances for Chelsea, captaining the club 578 times, and has won 14 major honours including four Premier League titles, five FA Cups and the 2012 Champions League during his time at Stamford Bridge and had scored 66 goals as a center-back revealed his top five moments at Chelsea to Chelsea TV.
5. Signing for Chelsea as a 14-year-old boy
He revealed that he rejected offers from Manchester United, WestHam, Arsenal before signing for Chelsea on Liverpool’s pitch.
4. His Chelsea debut against Aston Villa
John Terry made his Chelsea debut on 28 October 1998 as a late substitute in a League Cup tie with Aston Villa.
3. Made captain by Claudio Ranieri
2. Winning the Premier League in 2004-05
He said it is easily by far his best moment from Premier League point of view. He said the way the team played, dominated, the togetherness within the team and the celebrations after the title was won made it special.
