Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was involved in a bust-up at the club’s training session on Wednesday, according to reports.
The Sun claims that Mourinho and the fitness coach Carlos Lalin were shouting at each other and needed to be separated by Ricardo Formosinho, who is United’s technical scout.
After the row, Lalin reportedly went home while Mourinho carried on preparing for the session.
Lalin spent six years at Real Madrid where he met Mourinho and then followed the Portuguese to Chelsea in 2013.
United and Mourinho are preparing for their second game in four days as they host FC Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The United manager was left furious with the club’s officials on Monday evening after a delayed flight meant the team were forced into a five-hour coach journey back to Manchester following their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho has also been forced to contend with injuries to Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney ahead of the clash with Rostov, and admitted on Wednesday that he did not know when the duo would be available for selection.
