Jose Mournho informs Real Madrid the two ways they can sign David De Gea from Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has told Real Madrid that he wants Alvaro Morata plus £22m million in their deal to sign David De Gea from Manchester United, according to reports.

Marca claim that the United manager has given the Spanish champions two options if they wish to sign his first-choice goalkeeper this summer.

The first is to meet the Spain international’s €75 million (£65m) asking price.

And the second is to include Morata, who Mourinho values at €50m (£43.5m), plus stump up another €25m (£21.7m).

Madrid, however, are not willing to part with Morata for anything less than €75m (£65m), given that the striker has also attracted strong interest from Chelsea and AC Milan.

On Thursday, reports in Italy had claimed that the Spain striker had reached an agreement to join the Serie A club and will sign a contract worth £125,000 a week.

Morata fuelled speculation that he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this week when he was consoled by his Madrid team-mates during their title party.

AS have also claimed that Zinedine Zidane has privately asked Morata to stay with the club. The striker only started 14 games in La Liga this season but still managed to score 15 goals.
