Juventus consider Victor Boniface as backup option to Victor Osimhen
Italian giants Juventus are keeping an eye on Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as a possible alternative to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Bianconeri are keen on signing Osimhen, who is widely expected to leave Napoli at the end of the season. However, with the Nigerian forward’s €75 million release clause proving too expensive, Juventus may be forced to explore other options.
Osimhen is currently on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, but his long-term future remains uncertain, with clubs from Europe and Asia also reportedly showing interest.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus have now added Boniface to their list of potential attacking targets. The 23-year-old has impressed in Germany with his strength, movement, and finishing ability, and could fit well into the club’s plans for a refreshed frontline.
Juventus are preparing for the possible departures of Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani this summer, prompting the need for new attacking options.
Alongside Boniface, the club is also monitoring Lois Openda, Georges Mikautadze, and Arnaud Kalimuendo as they weigh their options ahead of a busy transfer window
