Kada City beat Insurance in #NNLSuper8 Final

Kada City have emerged as the champions of the 2018-19 NNL Super 8 after beating Bendel Insurance through penalty shootout in Aba on Friday.

Both teams qualified for the final after their unbeaten run inntheir respective zones. For Kada City, they finished first in Northern Zone with 5 points same as Gombe United but with superior goal difference.

Bendel Insurance defeated all their opponents in the southern zone without conceding a goal and scoring five in the process.

Emmanuel Nwangboje broke the deadlock in the 15th minute to put Insurance in front but before th interval Kadiri Sanusi restored parity for Kada City.

At the end of the duration, it ended 1-1 and the game was decided by penalty shootout where Kada City won 4-3 to claim the NNL Super 8 title.
