Kanu Nwankwo facilitates Enyimba – Ham Kam partnership
Enyimba FC has announced that their partnership with Norwegian club, Hamkam FC has been sealed.
The Nigeria Premier Football League champions made this public on Thursday. It will be recalled that a delegation of the Norwegian Club, led by Jorgen Byorn and Chris Twiddy was in Aba in February where they trained Enyimba Academy players and coaches.
According to the club’s official site, Bjorn said the purpose of the partnership was to assist Enyimba build a formidable youth football team and structure.
“The purpose is to create a good collaboration that gives both clubs positive ripple effects. HamKam will help Enyimba build up the structure of their club, especially at the youth level. We will assist them in the form of traveling down to Nigeria twice a year and holding training sessions with their teams. When we are there, we will also hold lectures on various academic topics such as methodology, physical training recovery, and other important things.”
The program will also facilitate the process of moving youth players from Enyimba to Norway.
“Kanu and his people will visit us annually. Players from Enyimba will be allowed to host with our A team and G19. We hope we can get more good players through this collaboration.”
