Kawhi Leonard Shines as Toronto Raptors Beat Chicago Bulls 135–92

The Toronto Raptors opened their NBA season in impressive fashion, defeating the Chicago Bulls 135–92 as Kawhi Leonard delivered an all-round performance on his return to Toronto.

Leonard finished with 23 points, six rebounds and four steals, making a strong contribution as the Raptors controlled the game and secured a convincing 43-point victory. His return added extra attention to the season opener, but Toronto’s collective performance ensured the team started its campaign on a positive note.

Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley led the supporting effort with 23 points each. Barnes also recorded six rebounds and five assists, while Quickley contributed four rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Toronto’s offensive production proved too much for Chicago, which struggled to keep pace as the Raptors built their advantage. The result gave Toronto an encouraging start to the season, while the Bulls were left with plenty to address after a difficult opening performance.
