Kelechi Iheanacho on target again as Leicester thrash Villa to keep pace with Liverpool

Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored and assisted as Leicester City beat Aston Villa 4-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.

Iheanacho featured upfront alongside Jamie Vardy as he started his first Premier League game of the season.

The 23-year-old, who was yellow carded in the 38th minute teed up his strike partner for the opener in the 20th minute, before tucking home Leicester’s second goal after a darting near post run.

Iheanacho, who was preferred to Ayoze Perez in attack also scored a last-minute winner against Everton in the last Premier League game he played.

Kelechi Iheanacho has now scored four goals in four games for Leicester City this season.
