Kenneth Omeruo returns to help Leganés secure first ever La Liga point against Real Madrid

Super Eagles defender was instrumental as Leganés played a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid to secure their first ever La Liga point their local rivals.

Having missed out of Leganes’ last three games with various reasons, the Super Eagles defender returned to help his side secure an important point against Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Jonathan Silva’s goal had given Leganes a deserved lead late in the first half, but Benzema drew his side level with his 18th LaLiga goal of the season six minutes after the restart.

The game could have gone either way but Kenneth Omeruo’s well-timed tackles, blocks, and clearances ensured the scoreline wasn’t against Leganes as they hung on to secure their first ever point against Real Madrid.

In fact, after this is their first point after defeats in their last five consecutive La Liga games.
