Kenya Football Federation Officials Face Investigation Over Alleged Insurance Scandal

Officials of the Football Kenya Federation are being investigated after officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) raided the federation’s offices at the Goal Project in Kasarani.

According to reports, seven EACC officers arrived at the offices and requested access to important documents as part of an ongoing investigation.

The officials demanded FKF’s financial records from 2024 to 2026, details of companies expected to work with the federation between 2025 and 2027, as well as tender and procurement documents.

The visit reportedly caused tension at the federation’s offices, with members of the finance department leaving the building soon after the officers arrived.

FKF official Ahmedqadar Mohammed Dabar and former National Executive Committee member Muriithi Nabea were seen speaking with EACC officers during the operation.

The investigation is connected to an alleged KSh 42 million insurance scandal, with authorities looking closely into the federation’s financial activities and procurement procedures.
