Kimi Antonelli keeps breaking Lewis Hamilton’s Records

Kimi Antonelli’s remarkable 2026 Formula 1 season continues to rewrite records.

The 19-year-old Mercedes driver picked up another win to make it five victories in a row, continuing what is becoming one of the most impressive starts to a Formula 1 career.

His latest win also saw him become the youngest driver in F1 history to record a Grand Slam.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a Grand Slam means a driver takes pole position, leads every lap, sets the fastest lap, and wins the race. It is one of the hardest things to achieve in Formula 1.

Antonelli did all four.

The young Italian has also surpassed a record previously held by Lewis Hamilton, becoming the youngest winner of the Monaco Grand Prix. Antonelli achieved the feat four years earlier than the seven-time world champion.

Antonelli and Hamilton currently sit first and second in the championship standings and are the only drivers to have completed every lap this season.

With five straight wins, Antonelli has now matched one of Hamilton’s winning streaks while building a 68-point lead at the top of the championship.

At just 19 years old, Antonelli is already putting his name alongside some of Formula 1’s greatest drivers.
