Kuminga and Curry inspire Warriors to victory over Raptors
Jonathan Kuminga and Steph Curry were ‘fantastic’ as they inspired Golden State Warriors to victory over Toronto Raptors to winning run.
The Warriors displayed resilience and determination in their victory over the Toronto Raptors, despite facing travel delays and playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Their 110-105 win improved their season record to 32-27 and kept them undefeated on their current road trip.
Although the Dubs initially struggled and trailed for much of the first half, they found their rhythm towards halftime, with Jonathan Kuminga and Steph Curry leading the charge offensively.
In the third quarter, they seized control of the game, eventually securing a double-digit lead that they maintained until the final buzzer.
Steph Curry showcased his scoring prowess with 25 points, along with contributing 6 rebounds and 6 assists in just over 30 minutes of play.
Kuminga also made a significant impact with 24 points in 27 minutes. Draymond Green’s versatile performance filled the stat sheet with 6 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal, and 2 blocks.
Additionally, Moses Moody continued to impress in the starting lineup, posting a game-high +17 plus/minus and contributing 17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 31 minutes.
The Warriors will now conclude their East Coast trip with a matchup against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, with tip-off scheduled for 12:30 PM Pacific time. With their recent momentum, they’ll aim to extend their winning streak and continue their climb up the Western Conference standings.
