Kylian Mbappe reveals regret of not playing with Cristiano Ronaldo
Kylian Mbappe has shared one of his biggest football regrets, which involves Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star admitted that he would have loved to play alongside the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Over his 8-year career, Mbappe has played with many football icons, but at 25 years old, he believes playing with Ronaldo would have been a special experience.
Speaking about the possibility of playing with Ronaldo, Mbappe said (via BeINsports): “I’ve played with great players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, [Antoine] Griezmann, [Paul] Pogba, and [Karim] Benzema. It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s going to be very difficult now, but I was lucky enough to play against him, a true legend of the game.”
Mbappe also talked about his loyalty to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and his dream of playing for Real Madrid. He said, “I went to the biggest club in the world, but I’ve always said that it was the only club I would have left PSG for. If I hadn’t been able to go to Madrid, I would have stayed at PSG for my whole career.”
Despite a tough start, Mbappe has still scored 13 goals in 23 appearances for Real Madrid.
