Lagos beat Osun to 3rd place as Oyo and Ekiti battle for the maiden South West Hockey Foundation U-16 trophy

The stage is set for the first ever final of the firstever South West Hockey Foundation U-16 Tournament final after Oyo and Ekiti booked their places in the final.

While Government College Ibadan strolled into the final, Ado Grammar School fought their way into the final.

Both teams are unbeaten at the tournament

Both teams have been impressive at the tournament and should give a worthy final on Saturday at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

Meanwhile, Okemagba Junior High School Epe beat St. Mark Commercial Grammar School of Osogbo in the third place to finish third at the maiden edition of the South West Hockey Foundation U-16 Tournament.

Ali Ibrahim and Kayode Nicodemus scored the goals in the 30th and 36th minutes to help the Lagos boys to a 2-0 win.
