Former Nigerian International Nduka Ugbade has advised Super Eagles new boy Victor Boniface to learn from 20-goal forward Victor Osimhen.

Recall that 22-year old Victor Boniface made his Super Eagles debut as Nigeria spanked Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in their final 2023 AFCON qualifier on September 10 in Uyo.

Bayer Leverkusen in-form forward Victor Boniface came on for Taiwo Awoniyi and provided assist for Samuel Chukwueze to score the sixth goal at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Having finally made his debut for the Nigeria National team, Coach Nduka Ugbade acknowledges how brilliant Boniface is but has a piece of advise to share .

” Yes, Boniface is a brilliant player and he has exhibited it with some of the goals he scored in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.

“However, he’s just new in the national team and most especially in a striking position that has Osimhen. I think there is a lot he can learn from Osimhen and others because they understand the system.” the renowned talent developer said per Complete Sports.
