LeBron James makes more NBA Christmas Day History
LeBron James has once again added to his long list of NBA milestones on Christmas Day, climbing higher on two all time leaderboards reserved for games played on December 25.
With his performance on December 25, James climbed into fifth place on the NBA’s all time Christmas Day rebounds list, reaching 145 rebounds in holiday games. That puts him in rare company, sitting behind only Bill Russell, Wes Unseld, Shaquille O’Neal and Wilt Chamberlain. Notably, James is the only player in the top five who did not spend his career as a full-time center.
Christmas Day also brought another milestone for LeBron. He remains first all time in three pointers made on Christmas Day, now with 32, extending his lead over James Harden and Kevin Durant.
Other stars also moved up the Christmas Day three point rankings. Kevin Durant climbed to third, Jamal Murray reached seventh, and Al Horford moved into ninth, joining a list that spans multiple eras of NBA history.
Across more than 20 seasons, LeBron has influenced games in multiple ways, and those numbers still hold weight in the NBA’s Christmas Day history.
Even as new stars take the spotlight, LeBron continues to leave his mark on the league’s biggest regular season stage.
