LeBron’s 19 Years streak ends in Game won by Hachimura

LeBron James’ record-breaking streak of scoring at least 10 points in 1,297 straight regular-season games came to an end last night. The streak began on January 6, 2007, and lasted nearly 19 years. It is regarded as one of the most durable scoring records in NBA history.

LeBron finished the game with single-digit points, which officially brought the streak to a close. The Lakers still won, thanks to a decisive final play. With the score tied in the closing seconds, LeBron drew defensive pressure and passed to Rui Hachimura in the corner. Hachimura hit the three-pointer that secured the victory.

The streak was notable for its consistency and longevity. It spanned several eras of LeBron’s career and included multiple teams, coaches, and playing styles. It also carried him from his mid-20s to his late 30s while he continued to score in double figures in every regular-season appearance during that time.

No active NBA player is close to matching the length of this streak. The next players on the list are far behind, which makes it unlikely that the record will be challenged soon.
