Liverpool, Klopp set different records with 7-0 win at Crystal Palace

Rampant Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have set and matched unique records after demolishing Crystal Palace 7-0 in a Premier League game on Saturday.

Takumi Minamino, Jordan Henderson, Saido Mane scored a goal each – Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah scored a brace each to hand Liverpool the big win at The Selhurst Park.

Incidentally, the win was the 127th for Liverpool under Jürgen Klopp making him the manager with the most Premier League wins in the clubs history.

He surpassed Rafa Benítez record of 126 wins in the process.

Liverpool became the first club to score goals against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after the London club conceded seven goals in a home match for the first time in their entire history.

All seven of Liverpool’s goals were assisted by different players (Mane, Firmino, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Salah, Matip & Oxlade-Chamberlain), the first time in Premier League history seven different players have assisted a goal for a team in a match.
